East Rutherford is a town of about 8700 people in northern New Jersey, not far west of New York City. It was the home of the Izod Center (Meadowlands) which was the home of the New Jersey Devils from their inception in 1982 until 2007 when they moved to the Prudential Center in Newark. The Metropolitan Riveters moved to the American Dream Meadowlands ice rink in 2022.
