EK Engelmann Wien was an ice hockey team in Vienna, Austria. They played in the Austrian Hockey League, the top level of ice hockey in Austria.

History

The club was founded in 1922 as Potzleinsdorfer SK.[1] Wien won five Austrian titles, and one German title, as Austria was occupied by Germany at that time.

After 1946 the team was renamed Wiener EG as the Engelmann Arena which had been destroyed in World War II. This team won three straight championships from 1949 to 1951.

The club was then dissolved but came back as the EK Engelmann. They won the championships in 1956 & 1957. They folded due to financial reasons in 1957.
