The Duluth Hornets were a senior amateur, then a minor pro team in Duluth, Minnesota. They played in the United States Amateur Hockey Association (USAHA) from 1920 to 1925.

After that league collapsed, they played in the new Central Amateur Hockey League, formed out of the remains of the USAHA, in 1925-26.

That league turned pro in 1926 as the American Hockey Association (AHA). The Hornets continued in this new league until 1932-33, when they were switched to become the Wichita Blue Jays in mid-season. The Hornets were re-formed in 1933-34 for their last season.

The Hornets won the league (AHA) title in 1926-27.

The team would relocate to the Wichita Forum in Wichita, Kansas during the 1932-33 season and be renamed the Wichita Blue Jays. After the season the team would be renamed the Wichita Vikings but they would have the franchise revoked after three games of the 1933-34 season and their record would be erased from the league record.
