"Royals" is the name of the sports teams from Douglas College, located in Vancouver, British Columbia. It was a member of the British Columbia Colleges Athletic Association (BCCAA), now known as the Pacific West Athletic Association (PWAA or Pac West), and the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association (CCAA), the second tier of university/college sport in Canada. It is still a member of the PWAA in other sports. The CCAA has not held a national hockey playoff since 2001. However, the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) continues to operate, and the Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ) operates a league of mostly Cégep teams.
