Donald Joseph Ward (born - October 19, 1935 in Sarnia, Ontario) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played 34 games in the National Hockey League for the Chicago Black Hawks and Boston Bruins in the late 50s.

He played Junior "B" with the Sarnia Legionnaires in 1955-56. The next year he turned pro with the Buffalo Bisons.

Ward got into 3 games with the Chicago Blackhawks in 1957-58 and then was acquired by the Boston Bruins in 1959. He played in 31 games for the Bruins in 1959-60 and scored his only NHL point, an assist.

Ward played 11 seasons (1961-1972) for the Seattle Totems. In 1972-73 he played for the Greensboro Generals and retired.
