Donald William Smillie (b. September 13, 1910 in Toronto, Ontario - d. June 15, 1993) was a professional ice hockey defenseman who played twelve games in the National Hockey League.with the Boston Bruins.

After playing junior hockey for the Toronto Young Rangers in 1928-29, Smillie went to the University of Toronto for four seasons.

In 1933-34 Smillie turned pro and played his 12 games for the Bruins, scoring 2 goals and 2 assists.

Smillie went on to play two more seasons, split between senior and minor pro teams. He retired in 1936.
