Donald Ernest Johns (born December 13, 1937 in St. George, Ontario) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played 153 games in the National Hockey League for the Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, and Minnesota North Stars.

Johns played junior for the Ottawa-Hull Canadiens and the Fort William Canadiens in 1956-57 and 1957-58. He then turned pro with the Winnipeg Warriors of the Western Hockey League in 1958.

The New York Rangers picked him up in 1960 and he enjoyed a good NHL rookie season in 1960-61. However, he was sent down to the minors in 1961-62 and 1962-63. Injuries to Rangers defencemen gave him a full season in the NHL in 1963-64.

He was traded to the Chicago Black Hawks in 1964 which marked the virtual end to his NHL career. He would play one game with the Montreal Canadiens and four with the Minnesota North Stars. Most of his time before his 1969 retirement was spent in the minor pros.
