Dimitrij Kotschnew (born July 15, 1981) is a German professional ice hockey goaltender who last played for the HC Spartak Moscow of the Kontinental Hockey League. He now is under contract with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl.
Early life[]
Born in Kazhakstan, he spent his hockey career in Germany from 2000 to 2008 and is now a German citizen.
Career[]
Kotschnew played six seasons for the Iserlohn Roosters over two spells, in which from 2004 to 2007, he served as their starting goaltender.
He played for Germany in the 2007, 2009, and 2010 World Championships.
