Richard John "Dick" Bittner (January 2, 1922 – March 24, 2002) was an American professional ice hockey goaltender who played in one National Hockey League game for the Boston Bruins during the 1949–50 NHL season.
He played for the United States in the 1949 World Championship, winning the bronze medal. Bittner played in the minor pros from 1943-55, when he became a referee until 1961. He played a game in each of the 1960-61 and 1961-62 seasons in the International Hockey League and then retired.
