The Delaware Bobcats are a women's ice hockey team that played in the Mid-Atlantic Women's Hockey League from 1975 to 2007. In 2007 the Delaware Bobcats left the MAWHL joined the United Women's Hockey League (https://www.uwhl.org/home). Delaware Bobcats home ice is the University of Delaware Fred Rust Ice Arena located in Newark, Delaware. For the regular season the Delaware Bobcats currently roster 2 teams in the UWHL, a red team which is a developmental level and a gold team for the more experienced players. For the spring season the Delaware Bobcats roster 1 team and all games are played in Aston, PA at IceWorks Skating Complex. The Delaware Bobcats are about to enter their 50th anniversary season and are always looking to add more players to the teams. Although players do not have to live in Delaware to be part of the Delaware Bobcats women's ice hockey teams, players do need to be 18 years old or older (no age cut off).
