The DePere Deacons are a men's senior team that plays in the Great Lakes Hockey League. The team is based out of the DePere Ice Center in DePere, Wisconsin
The team was founded in 1977 as an independent team named the Green Bay Deacons and joined the Badger State Hockey League for the 1978-79 season. The team would be renamed the DePere Deacons (the team has always been based out of DePere) after the team was taken over by the team's Alumni Association after the previous operators retired after 30 years of running the team.
