Dawn Sullivan is a forward for the Maine Black Bears women's ice hockey program. She was captain during the 2010-11 season.


Playing career[]

Sullivan attended the Berkshire School and was its captain during the 2006 -07 season. The previous season, she was part of the Berkshire team that won the New England Championship in 2006, and was named Most Valuable Player. In addition, she was an assistant captain of the U-18 Canadian Games team in 2007.

In 2008-09, Sullivan played in 32 games for the Black Bears. She scored her first collegiate goal on October 18 versus Sacred Heart. The following season, she played in all 31 games for the Black Bears. For the season, she had three goals and four assists for seven points. In the season opener (Sept 25) she notched a pair of assists versus Sacred Heart. From November 27 to December 4, Sullivan had a three game points streak. Her only power play goal of the season came on February 12 against Boston College.

In a series sweep of the Vermont Catamounts (contested from February 4-5, 2012), she earned an assist in the first contest, and scored the game-winning goal in the second match.[1]

Personal[]

At Berkshire, she was captain of the soccer and lacrosse teams in 2006-07. Her major at the University of Maine is biochemistry major.
