Davemacqueen

Dave MacQueen is a Canadian ice hockey coach. He started out coaching the Peterborough Petes from 1993 to 1996. He was an assistant coach with the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning from 1996 to 1998. MacQueen was named the OHA's "Coach of the Year' for guiding the Erie Otters to a 45-22-4 season record during the 2000-01 season. In 2006 he was named the coach of the Sarnia Sting, a position he held until 2008.

Prior to becoming a coach, MacQueen played junior hockey for the Ottawa 67's and the Sudbury Wolves from 1976 to 1979. After that he played seven years of professional hockey (1979-86), bouncing between the EHL, IHL, CHL, and the ACHL.
