Darwin McCutcheon (born April 19, 1962) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played in one National Hockey League game for the Toronto Maple Leafs during the 1981–82 NHL season.

He played junior hockey for the Kitchener Rangers, Toronto Marlboros, and Windsor Spitfires from 1979 to 1982. The Toronto Maple Leafs picked him 179th overall in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft and called him up for a game in the 1981-82 season while he was still a junior.

McCutcheon decided to give his education priority over his career in 1982 and left Kitchener to go to the University of Prince Edward Island. He played there for four years and graduated in 1986.

Still interested in playing hockey, McCutcheon signed as a free agent with the Calgary Flames in 1986. He played three seasons in the minors without getting another NHL shot.

He finished off his career with two seasons for the senior Charlottetown Islanders and retired in 1991.
