Darren Eliot (born November 26, 1961, in Milton, Ontario) is a former professional ice hockey goaltender. He was drafted in the sixth round, 115th overall, by the Los Angeles Kings in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft.

He played in the National Hockey League with the Kings, Detroit Red Wings, and Buffalo Sabres.

After playing in the junior ranks in southern Ontario, Eliot played four years of collegiate hockey at Cornell University, the same school Ken Dryden attended more than a decade earlier. His freshman year and his senior year were his busiest, when he started 26 games for Cornell. He graduated with a degree in agricultural economics, and was a two-time All-Ivy selection, and earned All-American honors in 1983.

As the next stop after leaving Cornell, Eliot spent 32 games with the Canadian National Team in 1983-84. The following season Eliot was on the Los Angeles Kings roster and played in 33 games. He also played another 34 games for the Canadian national team.

The time in L.A. lasted two more seasons before Eliot was traded to the Detroit Red Wings in 1987-88. After a year in the minors with the Adirondack Red Wings, he was called up for three games with the Red Wings. In his final NHL season, Eliot played two games for the Buffalo Sabres in 1988-89.

In his NHL career, Eliot played in 89 games and accumulated a record of 25–41–12.
