Danny Kenneth Lucas (born February 28, 1958 in Powell River, British Columbia, is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player.

Right-winger Danny Lucas played six games with the Philadelphia Flyers in 1978-79. He was a top scorer as an amateur and also put up respectable numbers in a relatively short minor pro career.

Born in Powell River, British Columbia, Lucas starred for the Humboldt Indians of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League before joining the WCJHL's Victoria Cougars part way through the 1973-74 season. In an unusual amateur career he scored 57 goals for the Cougars in 1974-75, spent the 1976-77 season at the University of British Columbia then notched 50 goals for the Ontario Major Junior Hockey League's Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in 1977-78. That summer he was chosen 14th overall by the Flyers at the 1978 NHL Amateur Draft.

Lucas scored a goal in six games for Philly in 1978-79 but couldn't rise past Reggie Leach, Tom Gorence, Paul Holmgren, Barry Dean and Dennis Vervegaert on the team's depth chart. He ended up hitting the 20-goal mark two straight years with the AHL's Maine Mariners but was not recalled to the NHL. Lucas retired in 1981 after playing most of the year with the CHL's Fort Worth Texans.
