Daniella Matteucci (born February 8, 1993) is a women's ice hockey player for the Clarkson Golden Knights women's ice hockey program.

Playing careerEdit

During the 2010-11 season, Matteucci was part of the gold medal winning Notre Dame Hounds team at the 2011 Esso Cup.


Shields joined the Clarkson Golden Knights in 2011. She was also recruited by Niagara, Maine, Minnesota State and Bemidji State. [1] Her first NCAA goal was scored in her NCAA debut on September 30, 2011. In a 3-3 tie with the Vermont Catamounts women's ice hockey program, Matteucci scored with 1:47 remaining in the second period.[2]

Hockey CanadaEdit

She played with Team British Columbia at the 2011 Canada Winter Games (women's) tournament and was the team captain.[3]

Matteucci was a pitcher on the boys baseball at Notre Dame College in Saskatchewan. During the 2011 season, she pitched a no-hitter.[7] She was also named to the Canadian National Women's Baseball team that took part in a seven game exhibition series in August 2011 in Cary, North Carolina (including one game versus the Raleigh Red Sox, a men's team).[8]
