Daniel Gazda (born on August 13, 1997 in Zlín) is a Czech ice hockey defenceman currently playing with the Berani Zlín of the Tipsport Extraliga.
Club career[]
Gazda played junior hockey with the HC Zlín (later Berani Zlín) organisation. In the 2013-14 season, he also played junior hockey on loan with the HC Vsetín organisation.
Gazda made his senior debut in the 2016-17 season playing 7 regular season games and 2 relegation games with the PSG Zlín of the Tipsport Extraliga and 8 games on loan with the SHK Hodonín of the 2. Liga while he also played 39 regular season games and 6 play-off games with the HC Zlín junior team.
In the 2017-18 season, Gazda played 31 games with the junior team of the Berani Zlín, 14 games with the Aukro Berani Zlín (formerly PSG Zlín) of the Tipsport Extraliga and 9 games on loan with the HC Zubr Přerov of the WSM Liga.
In the next season, Gazda appeared in 41 regular season games and in 2 play-off games with the PSG Berani Zlín (formerly Aukro Berani Zlín) of the Tipsport Extraliga and in 4 games on loan with the HC Poruba of the Chance Liga (formerly WSM Liga).
During the 2019-20 season, he played 35 regular season games and 2 play-off games with the Berani Zlín (formerly PSG Berani Zlín) of the Tipsport Extraliga and 2 games on loan with the HC Zubr Přerov of the Chance Liga.
In the 2020-21 season, Gazda played only with the Berani Zlín of the Tipsport Extraliga. He remains signed under the contract with the Berani Zlín until the end of the 2022-23 season.
