The Dalhousie Memorial Arena was a 1,280 seat multi-purpose arena in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. It was home to the Dalhousie University Tigers Ice hockey team. The school was working with nearby St. Mary's University to build a new facility that both schools can use.
The Memorial Arena saw The Dalhousie Tigers Only AUS Championship won in 1978. The Arena was Demolished in 2012, in order to make room for a new multi-use building at the corner of South and Lemarchant Streets respectively.
The closure forced both of the university's hockey teams to relocate. The men's team moved to the Halifax Forum. The women's hockey team ended up moving to the Central Nova Scotia Civic Centre now Rath Eastlink Community Centre located in Truro about 100km outside of Halifax.
