Craig Ramsay (born 17 March 1951 in Toronto, Ontario) is a retired Canadian professional left winger who played in the NHL from 1971 to 1985 and current head coach of the Slovak National Team.
Ramsay was selected 19th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1971 NHL Amateur Draft. He played 1,070 career NHL games, all with Buffalo, scoring 252 goals and 420 assists for 672 points.
Ramsay won the Frank J. Selke Trophy in 1985. He won the Stanley Cup in 2004 as an assistant coach with the Tampa Bay Lightning. He remained as the assistant coach until he was fired on May 24, 2007.
On August 1, 2007, he was named the assistant coach of the Boston Bruins.
He worked one season (2010-11) for the Atlanta Thrashers as the head coach. In 2011-2014, he was the assistant coach for the Florida Panthers. Then he worked as the assistant coach for the Edmonton Oilers for one season. After that, he was one year without any job.
In 2016-17 season he worked as the team consultant in Montréal Canadiens. After that, he became the head coach of the Slovak National Team.
