Colorado Springs is a city of about 300,000 in the state of Colorado. The metropolitan area has a population of just over 600,000.
It hosted the 1962 World Hockey Championships jointly with Denver.
It hosted the first ten Frozen Fours from 1948-1957 and also hosted the 1969 event.
