Colonial Hockey League

The Colonial Hockey League was a minor professional league.

It was formed in 1991. THe original teams were:

• Brantford Smoke
• Michigan Falcons (Detroit)
• Flint Bulldogs
• St. Thomas Wildcats
• Thunder Bay Thunder Hawks

The league was renamed the United Hockey League in 1997. In 2007 it was renamed again as the International Hockey League.
