The Col. J. Bourque Trophy was awarded to Eastern Canada's Intermediate A/Senior AA champion from 1943 until 1990. It was previously a Quebec Amateur Hockey Association senior competition. The winner represented the Eastern half of the country against the Western half for the Hardy Cup from 1968 until 1990. The 1940 and 1942 Eastern Canadian Intermediate playdowns were not for the Bourque Trophy.
