Christok

Chris Tok (born March 19, 1973, in Grand Rapids, Michigan) is a retired American defenceman and the coach of the Austin Bruins of the North American Hockey League.

He played for the Wisconsin Badgers of the NCAA from 1991 to 1995. The Pittsburgh Penguins chose him 214th overall in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft.

Tok turned pro with the Jacksonville Lizard Kings in 1995-96. He played in the minor pros until 2001, including a year in Slovenia. In his last year, he was a player-assistant coach with the Missouri River Otters.

From 2002 to 2006 Tok was an assistant coach and then associate coach of the Waterloo Black Hawks of the United States Hockey League. Then from 2006 to 2010 he was an assistant coach of the Michigan Tech Huskies.

In 2010 Tok was named the head coach of the newly-formed Austin Bruins.
