Chelsea Burnett is a former Canadian womens ice hockey player that competed for the Wayne State Warriors.

Playing career[]

Burnett was named to the Second Team All-CHA in consecutive seasons (2007-08 and 2008-09). She finished second to Natalie Payne in scoring by a defender (4-14-18) during the 2008-09 campaign. 11 of her 18 points in the 2008-09 season came in CHA conference play. She graduated as the all-time assist leader in school history among defenders. In her senior season, Burnett was honored as Wayne State’s Best Defensive Player. Her nine points tied for tenth overall among CHA defenders. Among Wayne State defenders, she graduated as the all-time leader in points (62), goals (17), and assists (45). In overall scoring at Wayne State, Burnett ranks fifth overall in power-play goals (9), and is fourth in power-play points (37). In addition, she is in a tenth place tie for game-winning goals (3) and a twelfth place tie for game-winning points (7).
