The Charlottetown Islanders were various teams that played in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada.

Major[]

These Islanders played in the Maritime Major Hockey League during its entire existence from 1950-54. They won the league title in 1950-51. Also won Allan Cup in 1991.

Maritime Senior Hockey League (1991-92)[]

Another incarnation played in the Maritime Senior Hockey League (1991-92) winning the league championship and advancing to the 1992 Allan Cup losing in the Allan Cup semifinal.

Major Junior[]

The P.E.I. Rocket were renamed in the spring of 2013 after being sold to local ownership.

Intermediate[]

These Islanders played in various leagues in the 1970's and the 1980's - usually in the New Brunswick League.

They won the Hardy Cup in 1981 and 1984. They lost the final in 1985.


Tier 2 Junior A[]

These Islanders played in the Maritime Junior Hockey League from 1968-71. They won the league title in 1971. In each year they advanced to the Centennial Cup playoffs, winning the eastern title in 1971 and then losing the national final.
