Chad Penney (born September 18, 1973 in Labrador City, Newfoundland) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who played three games in the National Hockey League for the Ottawa Senators.
Despite impressive numbers with the OHL's North Bay Centennials and later with the AHL's Prince Edward Island Senators, Penney was never to realize his potential at the NHL level.
Penney was a member of Canada's team that won the 1992 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. He also won the Memorial Cup in 1993 with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.
He retired in 1999.
