Saskatchewan Senior Hockey League seasons

The Northern Saskatchewan League and the Southern Saskatchewan Senior Hockey League would play as seperate leagues until being merged into one league for the 1938-39 season. The installation of artifical ice in Saskatoon for the 1937-38 season and in Regina for the 1938-39 season would make a single province wide league practical as the season did not have to be rushed to crown a champion and advance a team to the Western Canada Allan Cup Playoffs.

The Western Canada Senior Hockey League would replace the league from 1945 to 1950 when the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association introduced the Major category which would be between the Professional and Senior categories. The Major Category would only last a few seasons. A second WCSHL would replace the league from 1965 to 1968.
