This category is for the playoffs to determine the Quebec representative for the Eastern Canada Memorial Cup Playoffs. These playoffs were held from the 1918-19 season until the 1942-43 season, the 1947-48 season. and again from the 1956-57 season to the 1969-70 season.

The Junior Amateur Hockey Association and the Quebec Junior Hockey League (1949-1955) were the only Junior A leagues in the province from 1943-44 to 1954-55 with the exception of the 1947-48 season when the Quebec City Junior League competed for the Junior A championship. The following season the JAHA expanded into Quebec City and the JAHA would change its' name to the QJHL for the 1949-50 season.

The QJHL would fold after the 1954-55 season and the Montreal Junior Canadiens (and several relocations to Ottawa, Hull, and Brockville) would compete as an independent in the Eastern Canada Memorial Cup Playoffs until 1960 before returning to Montreal in 1961 and joining the Ontario Hockey Association's Junior A League until after the reorganization of junior hockey to Major Junior, Junior A, and Junior B in 1970.
