Carleton Place Kings

The Carleton Place Kings is a Canadian junior ice hockey team from Carleton Place, Ontario. At times the team was called the Legion Kings. The Kings played in the Eastern Ontario Junior B Hockey League. In 2009 the franchise was tranferred to Almonte where it became the Thunder. This move became necessary when Carleton Place was awarded a franchise in the Central Junior "A" Hockey League. The new junior "A" franchise is known as the Canadians.
