Where the Briqueteers got their name.
The Canmore Briqueteers were a senior team that played in the Rocky Mountain Park League from 1929-30 thorugh 1931-32.
This was a two team league along with the Banff Mountaineers.
Canmore won the league title in 1930-31 and then lost the Alberta senior final. Banff won the league titles in 1929-30 and 1931-32.
The team was a member of the Alberta Big Six League for the 1944-45 season where they won the league championship.
The Briqueteers then moved to the intermediate ranks. They won the Alberta championships in 1937-38, 1940-41, 1943-44. and 1944-45.
