History[]
The Rangers were an independent senior team in 1926-27.
They were organized as one of two teams (plus the Calgary Bronks) in the Southern Alberta Senior League in 1933-34, The two teams were part of the amalgamation of the Southern League in 1936 with the Edmonton League to form the Alberta League.
The Rangers won the Alberta senior title in 1937-38 but lost the Western Canada quarter final.
Calgary could not support two senior teams so the two teams merged into the Calgary Stampeders.
Junior Team[]
The Rangers had a junior team for one season: 1935-36. They won the Calgary City Junior League and the provincial junior title but lost the Western Quarter Final.
