The Calgary Fire are a women's U18 major hockey team playing in the Alberta Female Hockey League U18 AAA from Calgary, Alberta
The team is a consolidation of the former Calgary Bruins AAA, Calgary Chaos, and Calgary Flyers teams which previously played in the league. The Chaos stopped playing in the league after the 2011-12 season. The other two teams formed the Fire after the 2013-14 season. The teams had made up 25% of the league and were marginally competetive in a 12 team league but the league would start to downsize the number of teams to create a more elite level league being down to 6 teams for the 2016-17 season.
