The Calgary Northstars Hockey Association Black formerly Canucks are a Junior "B" hockey team that is sanctioned by Hockey Calgary, Hockey Alberta, and Hockey Canada in the Calgary Junior B Hockey League.
The CNHA dates back to 1964 and is sponsor to youth and junior hockey in much of the northern and eastern portion of the city of Calgary, Alberta. The team is one of two presently sponsored in the CJHL along with the CNHA Blazers.
The CNHA is one of four organizations which are organized for higher level youth and junior hockey within the city of Calgary along with the Calgary Buffalo Hockey Association, Calgary Royals Athletic Association, and the North West Calgary Athletic Association.
