The CBR Renegades are a Hockey Canada and Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador sanctioned junior B level hockey team playing in the St. John's Junior Hockey League. The team is based out of the Conception Bay Sports Arena in Conception Bay South, Newfoundland and Labrador. The team was established in 2010 as the Conception Bay Jr. Renegades and was subsequently renamed the Conception Bay South Jr. Renegades in 2011 and took its' present name in 2016.
Bell Island Jr. Blues
The team was originally the Bell Island Jr. Blues based out of the Monsignor Bartlett Memorial Arena on Bell Island.
They played in the Don Johnson Cup tournaments in 1998 & 1999. The Blues also played in the Veitch Memorial Trophy tournaments in 2000, 2007, and 2008, winning the trophy in 2007.
