The Buffalo State Bengals are a Men's Division III team in State University of New York Athletic Conference and a Women's Division III team in Northeast Women's Hockey League.
Both teams are based out of the Buffalo State Ice Arena. The facility is located on campus and seats 1,800. The rink opened in 1991 and is part of a larger Buffalo State Sports Arena which houses the college's other indoor sports teams
