The Buffalo Beauts is a professional women's ice hockey team . They are one of the four charter franchises of the National Women's Hockey League (2015) (NWHL).
History[]
The Beauts play out of The HarborCenter,[1] which is across the street from where the Buffalo Sabres play. Buffalo held their first-ever summer free agent camp on May 23 and 24, 2015.[2] In July 2015, the Beauts signed Team USA and Olympian goaltender Brianne McLaughlin, making her the first player in franchise history to sign a contract.[3]
Of note, the team made its debut on October 11, 2015.
