Bruce W. Bell (born February 15, 1965 in Toronto, Ontario) is a retired a Canadian ice hockey defenceman.

Bell started his National Hockey League career with the Quebec Nordiques in 1984. He also played with the St. Louis Blues, New York Rangers and Edmonton Oilers. He was named to the NHL All-Rookie Team in 1985.

He played junior for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, Windsor Spitfires, and Brantford Alexanders. The Quebec Nordiques chose him 53rd overall in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft. Bell had a good rookie season with the Nordiques in 1984-85, making the All-Rookie team.

Bell was traded to the St. Louis Blues in 1985, and played two solid seasons for them. But partway through the 1986-87 season he was the victim of a heavy check by the Toronto Maple Leafs' Wendel Clark which had a lasting effect on his play.

He was traded to the New York Rangers at the end of that season. In subsequent years he belonged to the Edmonton Oilers, Detroit Red Wings, Minnesota North Stars, and the Quebec Nordiques (again). But he was never able to make it as an NHL regular again.

Bell played in Europe for the 1995-96 and the 1996-97 seasons. Otherwise he spent his time in the minor pros until he retired in 1998.
