Robert J. Lee (December 28, 1911ice hockey player who played one game for the Montreal Canadiens in the National Hockey League. He was inducted to the British Ice Hockey Hall of Fame in 1949.
– December 31, 1974) was a professionalHe played for the Queen's Golden Gaels and the senior Lafontaine Bleus from 1929 to 1935. After playing a season with the Baltimore Orioles Lee went to Great Britain to play for the Brighton Tigers and the Earls Court Rangers from 1936 to 1939.
With the beginning of World War II Lee returned to Canada to play for the Quebec Aces, the Montreal Royals, and the Montreal RCAF teams. In 1942-43 he was called up to the Montreal Canadiens as an injury replacement.
Lee found his way back to Britain as a member of the Canadian military in World War II. When the war ended in 1945 Lee remained there and played one season for the Wembley Lions and then eight seasons for the Brighton Lions.
He retired in 1954.
