
Robert Thomas Joyce (born July 11, 1966 in Saint John, New Brunswick) is a former Canadian ice hockey player. Bob played college hockey at the University of North Dakota, winning the NCAA Division I national title in 1987. That year he set a school record with 52 goals.
He played for the Canadian Olympic Team in 1988. He then turned professional.
Drafted 4th (82nd overall) by the Boston Bruins in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft, Joyce also played for the Washington Capitals and Winnipeg Jets. He played in 158 regular season games, scoring 34 goals and 49 assists. In the playoffs he had a fine record of 15 goals and 9 assists in 46 games.
After 1992, Joyce settled in as a fine minor league player. In 1997 he left for Germany, spending three seasons there until retiring in 2000.
