Robert George Fryday (December 5, 1928 – January 12, 2007) was a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who played five games in the National Hockey League for the Montreal Canadiens. He was born in Toronto, Ontario.

He played junior hockey for the Toronto Marlboros and the Montreal Junior Royals from 1945 to 1947. In 1947 Fryday joined the senior Montreal Royals and played for them until 1952. The Montreal Canadiens called him up for a total of five games in 1949-50 and 1951-52 and he scored one goal.

Fryday played one season for the Buffalo Bisons (1952-53) and then retired.
