Robert Arthur "Steady" Falkenberg (born January 1, 1946 in Stettler, Alberta) is a retired professional ice hockey defenceman who played 54 games in the National Hockey League and 378 games in the World Hockey Association. He played for the Detroit Red Wings, Edmonton Oilers, and San Diego Mariners.
He played for the junior Edmonton Oil Kings from 1962 to 1966, winning the Memorial Cup in 1963 and 1966.
The Oil Kings were a Detroit Red Wings' farm team, so Falkenberg turned pro with the Wings. He only played 54 games with the NHL team over six seasons, playing mostly in the minor pros. The establishment of the World Hockey Association (WHA) in 1972 gave him his big chance, and he played for the Edmonton Oilers for two seasons. Falkenberg then played three seasons for the San Diego Mariners from 1974 to 1977. When that team folded, he joined the Oilers for one more season and retired in 1978.
In the NHL Falkenberg played in 54 games and scored 1 goal and 5 assists. He scored 14 goals and 74 assists in 378 WHA games.
