Blake Watson (Born - October 18, 1903 in Carman, Manitoba, Died - May 19, 1998) was a Canadian ice hockey left winger who played for the University of Manitoba Grads team that won the 1931 World Championship.
He played junior hockey for the Winnipeg Falcons and the Universoty of Manitoba, winning the Memorial Cup with the University in 1923. In 1923-24 he played for the University of Manitoba senior team and in 1924-25 he played for the Winnipeg Tigers-Falcons.
In 1925 he went to Europe and played and coached a team in Vienna, Austria. Watson has been credited with advancing hockey in Austria. He returned to Canada for a year to win the Allan Cup in 1928.
Watson went back to Europe and played and coached in Czechoslovakia (where he played for LTC Prague) and Austria again. He took some time off to coach and play for the University of Manitoba Grads team that won the 1931 World Championship.
After several more years in Europe (where he was studying medicine). Watson returned to Canada to pursue his vocation of dcotor.
