Billycarroll

William "Billy" Carroll (born January 19, 1959 in Toronto, Ontario) is a retired former professional ice hockey player. He was drafted by the New York Islanders in the second round (38th overall) of the 1979 NHL Entry Draft from the London Knights. Carroll's NHL career is widely considered to be one of "the right place at the right time". Carroll won three Stanley Cup rings with the New York Islanders in 1981, 1982, and 1983. He was then traded to the Edmonton Oilers, where he won his fourth Stanley Cup ring in 1985, at the age of 26. He also played two seasons for the Detroit Red Wings, and retired from hockey in 1987.
