Bill "Red" Anderson (born December 13, 1912) was a professional ice hockey defenceman who played one game with the Boston Bruins in the National Hockey League. He was born in Tillsonburg, Ontario.

He played intermediate hockey in Simcoe, Ontario, in the Ontario Hockey Association and turned pro with the London Tecumsehs in 1934-35. Anderson stayed in the International Hockey League and its successor the International American Hockey League through the 1936-37 season.

From 1937 to 1941 Anderson played in the American Hockey Association. In 1942-43 he played for the Boston Olympics. His play there caught the eyes of the Boston Bruins and he was called up for a playoff game that season. He was not dressed for the next Bruins playoff game and retired after that season.
