Albert "Bert" McCaffrey (April 12, 1893, Toronto, Ontario, Canada – April 15, 1955) was a professional ice hockey defenceman who played 7 seasons in the National Hockey League for the Toronto St. Pats, Toronto Maple Leafs, Pittsburgh Pirates and the Montreal Canadiens. He won a Stanley Cup in 1930 with the Montreal Canadiens. By playing in 22 of 44 regular season for Montreal during the 1930–31 NHL season, he qualified to win the Stanley Cup. However his name was never engraved on the trophy because McCaffrey had been sent to the minors to play with the Providence Reds, and did not play for Montreal in the Stanley Cup playoffs.

He started out playing for various teams in the Ontario Hockey Association senior series from 1915 to 1923, including the Toronto Riversides, Toronto Dentals, Toronto Crescents, Parkdale Canoe Club, and the Chesley intermediates.

In 1921-22 and 1922-23 McCaffrey played for the Toronto Granites who won the Allan Cup in both seasons.

As a result, the Granites went to the 1924 Olympics as Canada's representative and won the gold medal. McCaffrey scored 20 goals in the tournament's 5 games.

After that he turned pro with the Toronto St. Patricks of the NHL and later played for the Montreal Canadiens and the Pittsburgh Pirates (NHL). He played seven seasons in the league, scoring 43 goals and 30 assists in 260 games played, He finished off his career in the minors and retired in 1933.
