Beau Riedel (born November 3, 1975 in Calgary, Alberta) is a former Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who played one season the East Coast Hockey League.
Playing career[]
Riedel played for three teams during the 1996-97 ECHL season.
After brief stops in Huntington, West Virginia and Wheeling, West Virginia, Riedel signed with the Johnstown Chiefs on December 30, 1996[1] . Riedel finished the season as the starting goaltender of the Johnstown Chiefs, going 9-12-4 in 27 games. As a member of the Chiefs, Riedel signed a tryout contract with the Hershey Bears of the AHL on January 29, 1997[2], but did not see any ice time with the team.
Riedel broke the Chiefs single-game save record by recording 61 saves in a game against the Louisville Riverfrogs in March 1997, a record that he would hold for seven seasons. David Currie broke the record in April 2004 with a 62 save performance against the Reading Royals[3]

Riedel is the owner of Rock Bottom Hard Landscaping, a custom landscaping company that was established in 1998 in his hometown of Calgary[4].
