The Bates Bobcats were a club team that played as an NCAA Division III women's ice hockey team representing Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. The team played in the ECAC Women's Division III league for the 1998-99 and 1999-00 seasons. The program appears to have discontinued playing at the varsity level after the 1999-00 season.
The school presently has men's and women's club ice hockey teams which are based out of the Underhill Arena which is located on campus. The arena opened in 1995. The women's team is a member of the Independent Women's Club Hockey League. The men's team participates in the American Conference of the Northeast Collegiate Hockey Association (NECHA), a regional league of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA).
