Audrey Cournoyer (born September 10, 1990 in Montreal, Quebec) is a women’s ice hockey player for the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs of the WCHA. Prior to joining the Bulldogs, Cournoyer also competed for the Avalanche du Quebec in the NWHL.


Playing career[]

Cournoyer played her midget hockey with Jeunes Sportifs Hochelaga. In 2003, Cournoyer was part of the team that took first place at the Jeux du Québec. Two years later, she competed at the 2005 Jeux du Québec and was part of the third place team. [1]


In 2006, she won a national championship with Team Quebec. At the 2007 Canada Winter Games, she won a bronze medal. At the 2008 Under 18 National Championships, she was named the MVP after topping all scorers for silver medalist Team Quebec at the 2008 National Championships. In the same year, she won a silver medal with Team Canada at the IIHF U18 World Championships. In addition, Cournoyer participated for Dawson College during the 2008-09 season. As a 16 year old, she played with l’Avalanche du Québec of the NWHL.[2]


NCAA[]

In the 2009-2010 season, Cournoyer played in all 41 games. For the season, she registered 27 points (nine goals and 18 assists). Nine of her goals were scored on the power play. Cournoyer accumulated four assists against St. Cloud State in two games (Nov. 6-7, 2009). Against North Dakota (on January 30), she reached a personal best of two goals.
