History[]
The Atlantic Coast Senior Hockey League operated under the authority of the Maritimes Amateur Hockey Association (MAHA) and the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA). Its teams were eligible for the Allan Cup.
This league grew out of the New Brunswick Senior Hockey League with the addition of the Charlottetown Islanders of the Maritime Major Hockey League. It ran for just two seasons - 1954-55 and 1955-56.
The Islanders withdrew in 1956 and the league was reorganized as the Southern New Brunswick Senior Hockey League in 1956-57.
